Design and Detailing:

We are capable of designing all kind of high complex steel structures such as high rise buildings, airport Hangar buildings, Recreational buildings, commercial buildings and industrial structures for Cement Plants, Rolling Mills and Sugar factories.

Our team of design engineers is highly qualified and specialized in steel design and analysis with latest software environment and highly experienced in Indian, American, British, European and other international design standards.

For design and analysis, our engineering department uses the latest internationally recognized software STAAD.Pro and MBS. For connection design, MasterSeries and Limcon are used; these are equipped with advance features and work based on the latest international design codes. All engineering software and design codes are regularly updated to keep up with changing codes and requirements.

The in-house program development team works continuously to develop simple to use spreadsheet programs for engineers.

These excel based programs are thoroughly tested by our design experts and ensure fast, precise and economical design as a key facility in NSPL. For instance, programs for special type connection design, mezzanine beam, joist or column, crane beam girder for single or multiple cranes and composite beams are widely used for designing structural components using spreadsheet programs.

Steel structures are modelled in 3D, designed and detailed according to design specifications. Design data is then directly linked to detailing software Tekla Structures for steel detailing. This ensures that accurate information is transferred for detailing, thus eliminating errors and increasing the speed of output of fabrication drawings. From the detailed 3D model in Tekla Structures, NC data is generated and directly sent to the respective NC machines. This ensures high precision of all structural components during manufacturing.

In conclusion, our clients are promised quality engineering services and exemplary supply of steel buildings and structures.

Fabrication:

NSPL has a total site area of 30,000 sq. ft with the capacity to produce in excess of 10,000 tonnes of fabricated steelwork per annum. Products include Pre-Engineered buildings + accessories / cold form C and Z profiles / Sheeting and Decking panels / Built up Heavy Plate work / Complex projects. Fabrication is undertaken in a controlled environment with direct links to the engineering and production control departments in the CNC preparation machines.

Our workforce is highly skilled and flexible, our engineers are well experienced, and production is undertaken keeping the best quality and safety systems in mind.

Erection:

NSPL erection team comprises of highly qualified, trained professionals who have carried out a large variety of projects for various companies.

NSPL’s range of erection capabilities includes all kind of steel structures such as:

  • Warehouses and Cold Storages
  • Office Buildings
  • Airport Hangars
  • Showrooms and Production Facilities
  • Shopping Malls
  • Highrise Buildings

The erection team is well monitored by our engineering, plant and the project management in order to execute the planned erection as per promised schedule. Our goal is to provide safe, efficient, quality service to all our customers across the structural steel work industry. Prior to the start of erection activities on site, a specific erection plan and method statement is developed during one or more pre-construction conferences and site inspections involving NSPL, the controlling contractor, and others such as the project engineer and consultant. In this process, the following points are considered:

  • The sequence of erection activity: Material deliveries; Material staging and storage; Coordination with other construction activities
  • Description of the cranes, equipment used and placement procedures: Site preparation; Path for overhead loads; Critical lifts, including rigging supplies and equipment
  • Description of steel erection activities and procedures; Stability considerations requiring temporary bracing; Erection bridging terminus point; Notifications regarding repair, replacement and modifications of anchor rods (anchor bolts);

Columns and beams (including joists and Purlins); Connections; Decking; and other miscellaneous steel work.

  • Health and Safety plan procedure
  • Disposal of Scrap
